Maximum Service Landscaping keeps the streak alive!

On Saturday evening, June 5th, Maximum Service Landscaping, Inc. was honored with a First Place Award for their work on the Armstrong Residence in Half Moon Bay. Maximum Service Landscaping, Inc. has been an award winning full service landscaping firm since their inception in 1999. This garden was entered in the Small Renovation category which is for projects where at least 40% of the original garden features remain with a job cost of less than $50,000.00. This garden was renovated utilizing several sustainable landscaping practices including subterranean percolation chambers to keep storm water on-site, a paver patio using recycled concrete pavers, organic green-waste compost to recondition and build healthy soil, organic fertilizers, decomposed granite permeable patio’s, native and Mediterranean plants. The irrigation system was retro-fitted with Netafim Techline. All planter beds received a 3” layer of fir bark mulch. Landscape lighting was installed using the latest LED technology that uses only 25% of conventional halogen lighting systems.
